Simple but perfect screen captures
DuckCapture is a flexible - and free - screen capture tool that should easily meet the needs of most home users.
Apart from a cute name, DuckCapture has lots going for it. Light on resources and easy to use, the application will take 4 types of screenshot - Region, Window, Scrolling and Full Screen. Scrolling is a nice function that you don't always see in apps of this type - it allows you to take an extra-long screenshot of a window that runs over one page.
DuckCapture also has some nice configuration options. You'll be able to set automatic naming conventions and hotkeys for different types of screenshot, as well as enabling auto-update and auto-run on Windows startup. DuckCapture has no editing capabilities, but as a simple screen capture tool, it's perfect.
Light, free and flexible, DuckCapture is a great piece of software.
